Motorola is launching its Signature 27 smartphone in the United States on November 26 at a starting price of $1,599. Pre-orders open on November 19. This marks the first time the Signature line, previously sold in other regions, is available to American consumers.
The device targets the high-end market with hardware that mirrors the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Both phones offer 512GB of storage and 12GB of RAM at their top price points. However, Samsung sells a 256GB version for $1,399, while the Signature 27 starts at the higher 512GB tier without a cheaper entry option.
The phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. It features a 6.8-inch tandem OLED display that reaches 12,000 nits of peak brightness. Motorola includes a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, and support for GrapheneOS. This operating system support is a first for Motorola and for mainstream US phones.
The camera system includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with LOFIC technology, a 200-megapixel 3x telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. An additional Event Vision Sensor tracks pixel-level movement to capture fast subjects. Motorola claims this setup helps preserve clarity during rapid action.
Audio components are designed by Bang & Olufsen. The company describes the speaker system as being meant to be felt rather than just heard. The phone supports up to 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, though the wireless feature requires Motorola’s proprietary charger. The device lacks built-in Qi2 magnetic alignment.
Motorola promises seven years of operating system updates for the Signature 27. This support window matches the policies of Samsung and Google. The phone will be available in two Pantone color options.
Alongside the phone, Motorola announced the Moto Watch Fit 27 and Moto Buds 27. The watch claims up to 12 days of battery life. The earbuds feature Bose noise cancellation and IP57 dust and water resistance for both the buds and the case. US pricing and exact release dates for these accessories are not yet set, though they will arrive in the coming months.
In Europe and the UK, the accessories launch in the coming weeks. The Moto Watch Fit 27 starts at £99.99, roughly $134. The Moto Buds 27 cost £179.99, approximately $242.
