Actor Jason Sudeikis will serve as the guest picker for ESPN's College Gameday show this Saturday. The broadcast airs live from South Bend, Indiana, with the segment running from approximately 10:45 to 11 a.m. Central Time. Sudeikis, an Overland Park native, joins the program to predict outcomes in a major college football slate.

The guest selection role centers on a matchup between No. 1 Miami and No. 11 Notre Dame. Sudeikis has personal ties to the Fighting Irish that influenced his inclusion. He stated on The Pat McAfee Show that his family is deeply connected to the school. His grandfather graduated from Notre Dame, and his uncle Jim also holds a degree from the institution.

Sudeikis noted that his other uncle, actor George Wendt, also attended the university. Wendt, known for his role on Cheers, left after his junior year because he skipped finals. Sudeikis described the guest picker gig as the peak of his Notre Dame fandom. His connections to the program provide context for his presence on the show, which typically features predictions before the day's games begin.

The Saturday schedule features multiple ranked contests beyond the Miami and Notre Dame game. No. 3 Utah faces No. 9 BYU, while No. 7 Texas plays at No. 18 Missouri. No. 5 Alabama visits No. 14 LSU, and No. 2 Georgia travels to No. 10 Ole Miss. No. 23 Oregon plays at No. 12 Ohio State, and No. 6 Kentucky visits No. 13 Tennessee. These matchups create a complex environment for the guest picker to navigate.
