A federal court order has paused construction on a massive new monument, yet the administration moved forward with its digital rollout. The conflict centers on a 250-foot structure planned for the National Mall. President Donald Trump’s team launched a dedicated website on Friday to detail the design.

The site describes the project as the United States Military Triumphal Arch. It will stand between the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery. The design calls for blindingly gold ornamentation and stately gray granite. The structure is intended to rise 76 meters into the sky.

Visuals on the platform show bird's-eye views of the proposal. One side of the arch will read One Nation Under God. The other side will display the words Golden Age of America. The top of the monument features a golden-hued cherub holding a flaming torch.

The launch came one day after U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan issued a temporary restraining order. The order prohibits work on the site for 14 days. The ruling followed a vote by a federal planning commission to approve the arch. That commission includes several allies of the president.

The website does not list a final price tag for the project. It also does not explain how the cost will be paid. Some external estimates have reached as high as $100 million. The site uses gold cursive script for the word Triumph. This font mirrors the typeface used at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.

Functional plans include an event space in the horizontal part of the structure. Visitors would reach this area via elevators and stairs. Inside the massive columns, the site states there will be storage for munitions. Specific areas on the pedestal and observation deck are set aside for snipers and countersnipers.

The platform mentions provisions for a sniper nest. An open ground area at the base is designed for launching drones. It also serves as space for other homeland security assets. The site describes the arch as Highly Secretive. It calls the structure a Top Level and Lethal structure unlike anything seen in the country before.

The text claims the project is long overdue. It states that the idea has been sought for many years, especially by the Military. The website repeats claims that Washington has wanted a similar structure for centuries. It also features a picture of the president and quotes him calling it the greatest triumphal arch in the world.

This promotion marks the fourth day this week that the administration pushed its renovation projects. The timing follows a midterm election loss for the president's party. Democrats will take control of Congress in January. This shift is expected to bring more scrutiny to projects like the arch, the ballroom, and the golf course renovation.
